Special Notes on Baits and Pre-Baiting

  • Pre-baiting days will be billed based on the daily rates applicable to the species being hunted.

  • Pre-baiting is strictly prohibited within safari concessions and areas under the jurisdiction of Zimbabwe National Parks.

  • The use of cow and goat baits as well as pre-baiting, as mentioned, is permitted solely on private game ranches and within community areas.

  • For safari concessions managed by Zimbabwe National Parks, baiting strategies may be discussed upon arrival. Typically, impala baits are used for leopards, while zebra baits are employed for lions.

TRANSPORTATION, HANDLING, AND DIP & PACK

The fee for transporting and handling trophies (e.g., an elephant full skin or just two feet) ranges from $250 to $1,000, depending on the client's needs.

CITES TAGS & PERMITS:

CITES tags for leopards, elephant, or crocodile: $200 each.

Shipping & Taxidermy

​The dipping and dispatch of your trophies is an additional cost dependent on the number of trophies assigned for export. 13. Gratuities

Please come prepared if you plan on tipping your PH and/or staff. 15% of the day rates total is the usual gratuities amount. This is an indication only and gratuities are totally at the discretion of the hunter and/or non-hunter.
